Christmas Trading Dates

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Christmas Trading details below: Hello and Merry Christmas everyone! It’s that time of year again, Christmas, New year… Chaos! We will be closed over the Christmas period, details as below. I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful customers who have supported My Beads over the last 9 years online, 4 years at the Brighton shop and now 1 year at the Cleveland shop! We have lots of big things planned for next year – new exciting stock ranges, many new classes and of course many, many more beads! Thank-you so much again, we look forward to seeing you again next year! Best regards, Michelle, Leeanne, Angela, Samantha and Rebecca My Beads Christmas Trading: Online Orders: Cut off for online orders is Midnight, Wednesday the 19th of December. We will be packing Thursday and Friday to get all of the orders out, but we can not accept any new orders after Wednesday night. Please allow enough time for the payment to clear (ususally about 2 days – to ensure your order is sent, please pay with paypal or credit card). Unfortunately if it hasn’t cleared by the morning of the 20th, it will not be posted until after the Christmas break. Of course you can still place order over the Christmas break! These will be posted out on the 7th, but it may take a few days to completely catch up. Retail Shops (Cleveland and Brighton): Both shops will have their last trading day on Saturday the 22nd of December. We will be closed for two weeks, and resume normal trading on the 7th of January. Crystal Chatons

We’ve just listed these pretty new crystal chatons. Use them with Epoxy clay, or glue them into settings. Add some sparkle to your designs!

Playing with wire

I’ve been having a play with our handy new aluminium wire. I love this wire, so easy to use as it’s nice and soft and also doesn’t tarnish! I’ve used it along with some 8mm clear AB glass round beads, a crystal pendant and a bail to make a pretty choker necklace. It is simply plaited around the 8mm beads, with the wires twisted together at the end to form a hook and eye clasp.

Big shipment of pearls, coral beads and sterling silver now listed!

I have just listed our most recent shipment of gorgeous freshwater pearls. And we’ve been listening to your requests – lots of big chunky pearls!

Sterling Silver
We’ve also just listed a good range of sterling silver. Definitely a must have for making high quality silver jewellery. We’ve tried to cover most of the bases, and we will be increasing our range as time goes by.

Coral Beads
Last, but certainly not least, we’ve added to our range of gorgeous red coral beads. So bright and funky, coral is always very popular!
